Netflix’s new documentary series 'Our Planet' opens to positive reactions

The earth has been a nurturing home to humans for a long time. It helps us survive by providing us extinguishable resources and a safe atmosphere, but humans often forget that using these limited resources unsustainably will result in the destruction of our home, the Earth.

Netflix recently produced their first ever nature-based documentary, which released on 5th of April 2019, titled ‘Our Planet’. Narrated by David Attenborough and led by Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey who have previously contributed to the BBC through various other documentaries, The British documentary directly addresses the major issues that plague the planet’s well-being: the human society and how ‘our planet’ might die on us if we don’t do anything about it.
Public reaction to the series has been positive with many praising its accuracy while some sceptics have called out the documentary as ‘contrived nonsense’.
